Curriculum Vitae

I graduated from the Medical School of Ioannina (Degree: : 8.12/10). I was trained in cardiology in one of the largest cardiology departments in the country, at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki George Papanikolaou.. Subsequently, I served for two years in the National Health System as a Consultant Cardiologist of the same cardiology department, gaining significant experience in the whole range of cardiology and specialization in classical and modern echocardiography.

My training continued in London and King’s College Hospital, with a scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, where I specialized in advanced echocardiography, such as 2D/3D Transesophageal and Transthoracic Echocardiography (Stress Echo),Stress Echocardiography (Contrast/Bubble Echocardiography),Deformation Imaging-Speckle tracking and Contrast Echocardiography. I am certified by the Greek Ministry of Health for the implementation of these techniques.

• I have MSc from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Clinical Pharmacology (Degree:9.36/10).
• I am certified by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography,
• Holder of the European Diploma in General Cardiology
• Certificate of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)of the European Resuscitation Council.

I have published scientific articles in international and Greek medical journals, while I have participated in international and Greek conferences both as a speaker and through scientific papers.
